The Bar Worker is responsible for delivering friendly, efficient service to customers while preparing and serving drinks to company standards. The role supports a clean, safe, and welcoming pub environment.

We’re looking for friendly and reliable people to join our bar teams across various Heron & Brearley pubs on the island. We have roles available in both wet-led pubs and pubs that also serve food. No experience is needed as full training is provided. 

Applicants must be 18 or over due to alcohol service.

What the job involves:

• Serving drinks and looking after customers
• Supporting food service where required
• Keeping the bar area clean and safe
• Handling payments and using tills
• Working as part of a team during busy shifts 

Working hours 

Shift work, including evenings and weekends. Hours vary by site.

• Good communication skills
• Reliability and good timekeeping
• Ability to stay calm when it’s busy
• Willingness to learn and help out where needed 

Training provided 

You’ll receive full training in bar service, customer service, responsible alcohol service, and food hygiene where relevant.

Positions are available across multiple Heron & Brearley pubs around the Isle of Man.
